Le Code Chastenay: A new made-in-Montreal device for the fight against breast cancer
At the present time, X-ray mammography is the standard method used to detect breast cancer. However, even with this examination, some cancers are still detected too late. Furthermore, treatment monitoring can also be problematic due to a lack of precise imaging equipment. The good news is that a Montreal company has developed a new laser-imaging device that can improve the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The device is safe, painless, and is more effective than the current imaging techniques. A new weapon to fight breast cancer is born.
