Where is SoftScan® available?
In February 2008, the Company announced the first sale of its SoftScan optical breast imaging system to the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (‘Sunnybrook”) in Toronto, Canada. Sunnybrook is the first health centre to purchase a SoftScan imaging system since ART received regulatory approval from Health Canada for the commercialization of its optical breast imaging device in December 2006. ART was granted Canadian regulatory approval for the commercialization of its SoftScan optical breast imaging device as an adjunct diagnostic tool to mammography and, in February 2007, received the CE certificate that entitles it to affix the CE marking on the SoftScan device, making the product approved for sale throughout the European market.
As part of its submission to the FDA that will lead to approval for sales in the U.S., ART continues to pursue enrollment for its pivotal clinical study at North American sites. Click here if you wish to participate in a clinical trial for this device.
